The biggest stadium
The Rungrado 1st of May Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium occupying an area of 20.7 hectares (51 acres) on Rungra Island, Pyongyang, North Korea. It was opened on 1 May 1989.
The stadium is currently used for football matches, a few athletics events, and most often for the mass games of the Arirang Festival. The stadium's scalloped roof features 16 arches arranged in a ring. The Stadium capacity is around 150,000, it went to 114,000 in 2014 due to the reconstructions, but in 2022 it was confirmed that stadium can hold 150,000 people.
In 1988 Summer Olympics took place there. Up to my knowledge no major matches took place there. Probably because of the political situation it North Korea.

If we are talking about North Korea, it didn't host the 1988 Olympics - it boycotted them. They were hosted by South Korea. So this huge stadium has not been used for truly international events.
