Ultas - the most supportive fans

 Ultras are a type of association football fans who are renowned for their fanatical support. The term originated in Italy, but now is used worldwide to describe the most die - hard fans .

 The behavioural tendency of ultras groups includes singing football chants, playing musical instruments such as drums. 

Unlike hooligans ( they are usually drunk and do damage) , ultras are organised and goes for matches to support theirs clubs. They spend thousands of euros on : stadium mosaics, flags and flares. Although sometimes they cause problems - when their team plays against their "enemy" team, ultras fights with enemy team fans. 

In recent decades, the culture has become a focal point for the movement against the commercialisation of sports and football in particular.

  The  video assistant referee  ( VAR ) is a match official  in football  who assists the referee by reviewing decisions using video footage and providing advice to the referee based on those reviews. It is being used since 2018/2019 season. It's really improving referee decisions.  Player that scored the most goals in association football is Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos Aveiro. He has scored 859 goals so far. He has won five Ballon d'Or awards and won 34 trophies.  He also made a Portugal national team considered as one of the best national teams in the world ( before he played it was ranked 56th in ranking, at this moment it's ranked 6th).  He is thought to be the best player in football history. In 2023 he scored so far 48 goals and is leading the race for most goals in 2023 season. What makes his stats more impressive he is 38 years old. World Cup - The biggest event in football

  The  FIFA World Cup , often simply called the  World Cup , is an international  association football  competition between the senior  men's national teams. The tournament has been held every four years since the  inaugural tournament in 1930 , with the exception of 1942 and 1946 due to the Second World War .  Current champion is Argentina, but team with the most trophies is Brazil ( they have 5 titles). The viewership of the  2018 World Cup  was estimated to be 3.57 billion, close to half of the global population,  while the engagement with the  2022 World Cup  was estimated to be 5 billion, with about 1.5 billion people watching  the final match.   This makes it the biggest sport event in the history.
